The mandate of the Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region Archives is to identify, appraise, select, acquire, organize, preserve and make available for research the permanently valuable administrative records, in all media, created and received by the Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region and its predecessor institutions. These records are preserved for administrative, legal, financial, cultural, and historical purposes, and are required to document the functions, policies, activities, and achievements of these bodies.
The archives also acquires and preserves records created by private organizations and individuals relating to the history and development of nursing and health care in Regina and area.
